Partner

Ben Zadik is a seasoned finance executive, CPA, and international business strategist with extensive experience leading financial operations, capital markets activities, mergers and acquisitions, international accounting, and corporate growth initiatives for startup, small cap, mid sized, and multinational organizations. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ben has built a distinguished career spanning technology, biotechnology, real estate, telecommunications, and global investment platforms, with particular expertise in scaling high growth companies, navigating complex international operations, and supporting transformational corporate transactions.

Throughout his career, Ben has played key leadership roles in helping emerging growth companies expand operationally and financially, including participating in the successful transition of two startup companies into the public markets. His experience combines deep operational finance expertise with hands on leadership in SEC reporting, international finance, strategic planning, fund management, transaction execution, corporate structuring, and organizational scaling across multiple global markets.

Ben previously served in a senior international finance leadership role at AMB Property Corporation, one of the world’s leading industrial real estate and logistics infrastructure companies, which later became part of Prologis, the world’s largest global industrial REIT and logistics real estate platform. During his tenure, Ben oversaw international finance and accounting operations involving more than $5 billion in global assets and managed financial activities associated with multiple international private equity funds operating across Japan, Mexico, and Canada. His responsibilities included global accounting oversight, fund operations, financial reporting, compliance, strategic finance, and cross border operational management across multiple international jurisdictions.

Prior to AMB, Ben was a senior member of the finance team at SangStat Medical Corporation, a biotechnology and specialty pharmaceutical company focused on transplantation medicine and immunology therapeutics. During his time with the company, SangStat expanded annual revenues to more than $100 million, and Ben played an instrumental role in supporting the financial operations and strategic transaction activities associated with the company’s acquisition by Genzyme Corporation in a transaction valued at approximately $640 million in cash. At the time, Genzyme was widely recognized as one of the premier biotechnology companies in the world before later becoming part of global pharmaceutical leader Sanofi.

Earlier in his career, Ben was also a senior member of the finance organization at Netopia, a networking and broadband communications technology company known for its internet infrastructure, broadband connectivity, and communications hardware solutions. Netopia was later acquired by Motorola in a cash transaction valued at approximately $208 million, further strengthening Ben’s experience in supporting strategic growth companies through successful acquisition transactions involving major global technology enterprises.

Ben began his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), one of the world’s largest global accounting and professional services organizations, where he worked within both the audit and international tax practices. His early experience at PwC provided a strong foundation in financial reporting, international taxation, regulatory compliance, multinational accounting systems, and complex corporate finance operations.

Over the course of his career, Ben has developed a reputation for combining strong financial discipline with strategic operational leadership, helping organizations navigate periods of rapid growth, international expansion, capital formation, and complex transactional activity. His expertise spans public and private company operations, global finance management, M&A execution, fund structures, strategic planning, and financial infrastructure development for high growth enterprises operating in competitive global markets.

Ben is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Accountant (Canada), reflecting his extensive expertise across U.S. and international accounting, finance, and corporate management disciplines.
