Dominique Bourse is a highly accomplished international media and entertainment executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across global entertainment, interactive media, digital content, animation, business development, and entertainment-focused investment. He built much of his career at The Walt Disney Company, where he held senior executive roles including Senior Vice President, International and Global Business Development for Disney Interactive, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for The Walt Disney Company, and CEO of Disney Interactive for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
After Disney, Dominique co-founded Cyber Group Europe with Pierre Sissmann, former President of The Walt Disney Company EMEA. Cyber Group Europe specialized in strategic consulting, investment, and business development across the entertainment and media sectors. The firm advised on major international projects, including Citigroup’s work related to the purchase of Disney Stores Europe, advisory work for Apax Partners and Soros interests on the acquisition of Monaco Telecom, and advisory work for the Dubai government connected to the development of a theme park and entertainment industry cluster associated with Dubailand.
Dominique also played a central role in building Cyber Group Studios, an international producer and distributor of animated children’s and family programming co-founded by Bourse and Sissmann. The company developed and produced global animated properties including Gigantosaurus and Droners, and expanded across international production, distribution, licensing, digital media, and original intellectual property. In 2023, Dominique was appointed Chairman and CEO of Cyber Group Studios, succeeding Pierre Sissmann, after previously serving as Chief Operating Officer. Industry coverage described Cyber Group Studios as a global animation company with approximately 300 collaborators and partners, operations across multiple continents, and a catalog of internationally distributed animated programming.
Through Cyber Group Studios, Dominique helped advance the company’s international expansion, development and production platforms, research and development strategy, digital business initiatives, and entry into new audience segments. The company’s work included partnerships and properties involving major broadcasters, streaming platforms, OTT platforms, licensees, and international collaborators, including activity connected to Gigantosaurus, The Walking Dead: Last Mile, and Final Fantasy IX.
Under Cyber Capital, Dominique also created and co-funded a private equity fund focused on the entertainment and media industries in partnership with Rothschild Bank. Earlier public biographical materials state that this fund was created following his Disney tenure and focused on entertainment and media investment opportunities.
Dominique holds a Master’s degree in Marketing Strategy and Market Research from the Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris, also known as Sciences Po, as well as an MBA from the same institution, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
