BRILLOUIN ENERGY CORP
Energy

Brillouin Energy Corp is an advanced clean energy company focused on the commercialization of Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) technology, a potentially transformative new category of ultra-clean, scalable energy generation designed to address the world’s accelerating power, industrial, and energy security demands. Headquartered in Emeryville, California, the company has spent more than fifteen years advancing, refining, and validating its proprietary Hydrogen Hot Tube (HHT) and Q-Pulse technologies through extensive laboratory development, engineering, and independent third-party testing.

Brillouin Energy’s mission is to deliver safe, affordable, decentralized, zero-emission thermal energy systems capable of powering industrial steam generation, electrical infrastructure, maritime propulsion, defense systems, and next-generation energy-intensive applications such as artificial intelligence and hyperscale data centers. Unlike conventional nuclear fission, Brillouin’s LENR platform is designed to operate without combustion, carbon emissions, long-lived radioactive waste, or the extreme conditions associated with traditional fusion technologies.

The company’s proprietary Q-Pulse control system is designed to enable controllable and repeatable LENR reactions through precisely engineered electronic pulse sequences inside hydrogen-loaded metal lattice systems. Brillouin believes this controlled process represents one of the key breakthroughs required for scalable commercialization of LENR technology. Independent evaluations and calorimetry testing conducted by recognized scientific organizations and experts, including SRI International and former national laboratory researchers, have reported repeatable net-positive thermal results and additional nuclear signatures consistent with the company’s research objectives.

Brillouin Energy is now transitioning from research and validation into pilot manufacturing and commercialization. In 2024, the company commissioned a 37,200-square-foot research, engineering, and pilot production facility in Emeryville, California, focused on accelerating manufacturing repeatability, system scalability, OEM integration, and commercial deployment initiatives.

The company has attracted support from a growing network of recognized entrepreneurs, industrial leaders, strategic advisors, and investors. This includes climate technology advocate Carl Page, founder of the Anthropocene Institute and brother of Google co-founder Larry Page, who is widely recognized for supporting breakthrough clean energy, advanced science, and frontier technology initiatives.

Brillouin’s leadership team also includes Executive Chairman Greg Knight and retired Lieutenant General Lee K. Levy II, former Commanding General of the United States Army Communications-Electronics Command, whose experience in advanced defense systems, operational infrastructure, and mission-critical technologies supports the company’s long-term commercialization and strategic deployment initiatives. Brillouin’s momentum further accelerated with the support of Timothy Mellon, heir to the historic Mellon industrial and banking family and one of America’s most recognized financial dynasties, who became a strategic investor and supporter of the company’s long-term commercialization vision.

Brillouin Energy is pursuing commercialization opportunities across some of the world’s largest energy and infrastructure markets, including utility-scale power generation, industrial steam, maritime shipping, military and defense applications, microgrids, critical infrastructure resilience, oil and gas operations, and AI-driven power demand growth. The company believes its technology could eventually enable the retrofit of existing steam-based infrastructure into clean energy systems while dramatically reducing fuel dependency, emissions, and operational costs.

Supported by a growing intellectual property portfolio spanning reactor systems, control electronics, materials science, software, and manufacturing methods, Brillouin Energy is building what it believes could become one of the foundational energy platforms of the next century. The company’s long-term vision is to help power the world with ultra-clean, safe, resilient, and abundant energy capable of reshaping global energy economics and accelerating the transition toward a sustainable high-energy future.
